Fundraising via text messaging (think American Idol votes at .99 each) is the Holy Grail for political, advocacy and grassroots organizations.

Unfortunately there are many barriers to raising money via premium rated or reverse bill text message...the biggest being the near 50% charges imposed by the US Carriers to allow these types of messages across their network.

We find that by combining IVR (interactive voice response) with a text message, fund raisers can get the immediacy of a text message without the fees typically associated with a premium rated message.

Constituents can be sent a text message with an embedded phone number that asks them to click or call the number to make a donation. They are redirected to an automated IVR system that can walk them through the steps of giving a donation, or be redirected to a call center.
